About the Artist
UK-based photography graduate, graphic designer, adventurer and maker of creative things. Having recently achieved a first class BA (Hons) Photography in the Arts degree, I am currently available for a variety of commissions, projects and collaborations.
My work is primarily lens-based; I create cinemagraphs by digitally combining and manipulating photography and video. I also have experience with landscape & macro photography, candid portraiture, travel photography, studio work and a range of design & layout projects with various clients. I have a vivid imagination and a passion to express this through photography and design, capturing digitally before organising, editing and retouching in Adobe Creative Suite. I also blog regularly about photography, lifestyle, travel & crafts.
My contact details & links to my social media are in the ribbon below - feel free to email, follow, like, pin, subscribe... there are many ways you can get in touch with me. I also accept hand-written letters delivered by owl.
Hope you enjoy browsing my portfolio - if you'd like to see what creative things I've been up to recently then you can head over to my blog to catch up.

The Student Journals
"Marie's work delivered exactly what we had in our minds but couldn't express. The photos were exceptional and will no doubt enhance our marketing in the coming year. The shoot was fun and relaxed and we were able to collaborate with her to create the best shots possible.
All in all we couldn't be happier!"
- Edward Boott (Nonsuch Theatre: Acqua Alta)
"Marie has done a fantastic job handling artwork for project “Sela-Sela” Official Song of the Africa Football Cup of Nations, South Africa 2013. She was able to work with our ideas and requests as well as take into account the market appeal in the various regions of promotion. We also appreciated her thoroughness and punctuality under sometimes high-pressure situations with constantly changing needs and demands. Throughout this project she has been consistent in providing proofs, drafts, and questions to better accommodate our needs and objectives. She has provided us materials for online and print work, each of the materials having certain specifications for mass print and/or online publication. We are very pleased with Marie’s work as it is unique and beautiful. She is able to easily understand our needs and take the project to the next level in terms of visual appeal and intrigue.
In fact, she is working on my next project right now!"
- Zahra Universe (Sela-Sela Artwork Design)
"Marie and Abby were recommended to shoot the work in the studio. They set up the lighting, backdrops and shot about 35 students work. This was a massive task for any photographer with an incredibly tight time schedule over one day. They both rose to the challenge and I was incredibly impressed with how professional and organised they both were. They were great communicators, very helpful and supportive and I would recommend them to anyone. A pleasure to work with I look forward to working with them again in the future. They delivered on time and presented and edited the images exactly to our specification making very good image choices for the final selection for print. This was a successful project collaboration between surface pattern and photography because of these students, I felt like they really enjoyed it also which helped me to direct the shoot throughout the day, their help was invaluable. The images are so strong we are using them to promote the new pathway as marketing material."
